Frequently asked questions
Does a fertility blood test tell me whether I can get pregnant?
No single blood test can establish whether you can conceive. Results such as AMH provide information about ovarian reserve but do not reliably predict natural conception. Your history and other investigations also matter.
When should I have my progesterone blood test?
Progesterone is usually checked around seven days before your expected next period. This is often day 21 in a 28-day cycle, but timing varies with cycle length and regularity.
Can I add a scan or semen analysis?
Until 30th November at 11.59pm, semen analysis (worth £168) is included free with any package. A pelvic scan and other additional investigations can be requested alongside your package, subject to clinical suitability and separate pricing.
What if my results suggest I need further help?
Your report or consultation will explain the findings and appropriate next steps. Further appointments, investigations or referral may be recommended and may incur additional fees.
Should my partner be investigated too?
Where relevant, semen analysis is an important part of fertility assessment and may be appropriate early in the process. It is included free with any package until 30th November at 11.59pm.
